Red watermelon contains no fat or cholesterol, has only 25 calories per 100 grams, so it’s ideal for weight loss diets. Choose 2 days a week to eat only watermelon and drink mineral water. The other five days, replace one meal with watermelon. But the other meals must be balanced and should contain proteins and lipids in moderation.

Watermelon consumption slows weakening effects of vision caused by aging. Studies have shown that regularly eating watermelon is more effective in protecting connective tissue than the carrot.

To protect your heart

Lycopene also improves cardiac activity. Beta-carotene, known for its antioxidant and anti-aging properties, helps keep the heart young and prevents heart problems that come with age.

To increase libido
