We choose perfume based on our personality and what we want to convey. As Emanuel Ungaro said: “A perfume is an intimate object, it is the reflector of the heart”. Fragrance can improve your mood and social life, but in some situations can cause health problems. You should know, perfume expires as its alcohol and flavors evaporate. Expired perfume changes its smell, it begins to smell rancid. In case you want to save some money, the term of validity can be extended if you keep it in the refrigerator. Avoid keeping your perfume in the bathroom. Here are a few health problems perfume can cause:
Headache and nausea: If the perfume is highly concentrated or you simply put on too much, you may develop symptoms such as headache and nausea. They announce the existence of a poisoning. Be careful, fragrance applied in excess can cause these problems to people around you, especially children and asthmatics. Your favorite perfume can become unbearable when the body is full of toxins, as in the case of nicotine or alcohol abuse and heavy meals.
Skin irritation and itching: Some people may develop a fragrance intolerance throughout life, as a result of using excessive amounts or inhaling perfume vapors. For people who have got a skin sensitivity and want to continue using the perfume, spraying it on clothing is recommended.
Anxiety: Stressed people, whose senses are highly used may show an obvious state of anxiety and nervousness, because their nervous system is extremely sensitive. In such cases, the fragrance does not matter, but its mere presence.
